Continuing Education Requirements for Certified College Planning Specialists 

The NICCP believes it is of paramount importance that our members stay current with the constant changes in the business.  This makes it possible for our members to present the most updated information to their families and the public resulting in extraordinary results.

Annual requirement: 

• 24 hours per year after your first year of Certification.
  • e.g. If you obtained your Certification in March of '09- you are good until March of 2010.
    You will need 24 hours of CE every 12 months after that.

How to get CE

• The National Conference in May provides 16 hours of CCPS CE credit
• The NICCP Fall Virtual (Online) Conference provides 16 hours of CCPS CE credit
• The webinars and teleclasses presented by the NICCP all count for 1 hour of CE credit.
• The calls in the audio library all count for 1 hour each

CPAs and CFPs

We will allow most CPA and CFP CPE/CE credits to apply to your CCPS certification requirements.
