The National Institute of Certified College Planners
The National Institute of Certified College Planners (NICCP), founded in 2002, is dedicated solely to the promotion of the Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS) certification program.
The mission of the NICCP is to advance the principles of financial planning for higher education through providing recognition and support to those experienced financial professionals around the country who are dedicated to helping families reduce the cost of college, efficiently save and pay for college, thereby reducing the financial impact of college on families of all income levels.
With today's high cost of college, many families are desperately seeking ways to reduce costs and make college more affordable. This challenge represents an opportunity to those motivated professionals around the country willing to devote a portion of their practices to helping these families build and execute sound financial plans that satisfy college goals without sacrificing the dream of a secure retirement.
However, these professionals are often lacking the ongoing educational support and public recognition of an organization focused entirely on advancing the principles of professional education and vocational excellence within the college planning profession. The purpose of The National Institute of Certified College Planners is to provide that education, recognition, and support.
The NICCP takes very seriously its role as educator and ongoing resource to college financial planners.
