Spring is a great time to help families and their students choose campuses to visits and to help them choose a school that they should matriculate. As an expert in financial resources, you are able to help families understand the differences in their financial aid awards. But, are you able to help your students find the right schools to visit?

Course Presenter Biography:
Liz Hamburg is the COO of ApplyWise. She has extensive experience launching new products and companies in areas of communications, technology, entertainment and media. She has launched new products for Reuters Tokyo and was one of the founding one of the founding managers and Director of the Board of Vimpel Communications (NYSE:VIP), the leading cellular company in Russia.
Liz received an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. She is President of the Advisory Board of the Brown University Entrepreneurs Program and a member of the Advisory Panel of the Columbia Business School's Eugene Lang Entrepreneur Initiative Fund. She is a frequent lecturer on topics concerning entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses. 
Liz is also the co-host on WOR radio NY (WOR 710AM) of “New York Uncovered” and “Launchpad”, a weekly radio segment focusing on entrepreneurs and small business.
 
Rod Bugarin is the Director of Marketing and Business Development for ApplyWise. Throughout his career, Rod has conducted workshops on college admissions, financial aid and information technology to students, parents and professional colleagues.
His decade long career includes positions at Hampshire College (Amherst, MA,) Wesleyan (Middletown, CT) Brown (Providence, RI) and Columbia (New York, NY) Universities.
At Brown, Rod managed the endowed scholarship program and advised prospective NCAA-Division I athletes about the need-based financial aid policies. Before joining ApplyWise, Rod spent four years as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid for the undergraduate colleges of Columbia University. During his tenure, he worked closely with foreign and transfer students while completing the requirements for a Master of Arts degree in Higher and Post Secondary Education at Teachers College that he received in May 2007.
